I had an interesting conversation with incredible Vladi Aura who is about to shoot his first movie “When I Look Into You Eyes I See,” which I hope to be a part of.
We were talking about human`s issues in this world. About women rights, human trafficking, freedom of choice - the important topics in the world`s society, which will be highlighted in Vladi`s movie. He would like to explore why people do certain things and behave in a certain way as well as how people affect each other.
Talking about his film, I was wondering why the most ancient profession (as they say) still exists in our modern society. Why men choose to buy sex instead of having it for free with a woman they like or love. Why they make sex a business transaction.
Vladi gave me an interesting idea to think of: they afraid of intimacy. He, also, explained me the meaning of intimacy in a way I`ve never thought about: In Ti Ma Cy - Into Me You See - what can another person see when you share the deepest and darkest parts of your soul.
Vladi thinks that if people would be able to say out loud about their fantasies and desires, open themselves to at least one person - there won`t be wars or aggression in this world. People afraid to be vulnerable, to show what is inside of themselves, what they really think about or how they truly feel.
There are many reasons for this fear, which are entirely understandable. First of all, we afraid that another person won`t understand us. Or that another person will not accept us and leave or accept, but die, at some point everyone dies. We are afraid that opening to someone will make us weak, that we can lose ourselves, which formerly a part of love. We afraid to feel something towards someone, because of fear to be burned alive in an emotional sense.
Because of the fear to be open and intimate with another person, people hide themselves choosing not to be attached to feel nothing. They opt to pay for love or sex to feel an equal exchange and think that they do not owe anything to anyone. Because they know, once you pay - this person here is only for money, you are not loved, so there is no need to love back.
It is sad to admit, but I believe it is the truth of our world. So many people are so scared to live the greatest feeling our body and mind can experience. I can only hope that I`m not one of them.
